We met Rebecca while we were out walking our 11 year old
Lab-mix, Mattie. We saw Rebecca walking
two large dogs and were very impressed with her handling. We inquired whether she dog-sat and asked her
if she could come speak with us some time.
Rebecca came over that very afternoon! She brought credentials and references and we
were amazed that she even had training in pet first-aid and CPR. When Rebecca had a seat on our couch, Mattie
practically jumped right in her lap. We
knew that we had found a great fit for our girl!
Rebecca has “baby-sat” for Mattie on a number of
occasions. She comes over as many times
as needed to feed, walk and play with Mattie.
As an older dog, Mattie has a few health problems and requires daily
medication. But this hasn’t been a
problem at all, as Rebecca has done an excellent job with even the smallest
details.
Rebecca is loving, kind and thoughtful and we have come to adore her!!! We recommend her whole-heartedly.
I have known Rebecca Dudzinski for five years. I had the honor of serving with her at the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department for two years and I have also had the pleasure of getting to know her personally. Rebecca is one of the most trustworthy and honorable people I know. I put my faith in her completely; she is the only person I trust with my two dogs.
I have had the opportunity to see her interact with animals on several occasions. Rebecca is one of those truly gifted people when it comes to animals. She has an instant rapport with animals. They seem to instinctively pick up on her kindness and quickly develop a bond.
Rebecca has taken it upon
herself to develop the skills necessary to be a truly remarkable pet
sitter. She is nationally certified by
NAPPS and American Red Cross in pet CPR and First Aid. This is just another testimony to the
dedication she applies to everything she does.
I can think of no one I would be more comfortable with trusting to care
for my pets.
Sincerely,
Christopher Knopf
Rebecca,
I just wanted to say thank you. It has been such a wonderful experience having you in my pets life. All three of my dogs, as well as myself, are happier and healthier for knowing you. Your services and professionalism are second to none. You have no idea how comforting it is to have someone as reliable and trustworthy as yourself in my home and caring for my "children"! All of your suggestions for me on obedience training as well as the training you have been doing with them has been awesome. I can absolutely tell the difference on the days you have walked and worked with them!!! Even my neighbors have made comments on how impressed they are with the way you handle all three 100 lb dogs at once! I will continue to tell all of my friends as well as people I meet of you and your services! I am definitely a customer for life!!!! Thanks again for treating my pets as if they were your own!!

Rebecca has been a Godsend for me and my dogs! She is such a lovely, warm person and within ten minutes of meeting my dogs she had analyzed their personalities, their behavior issues and made progress with them. (The one we call our guard dog was already asking Rebecca for belly rubs). Rebecca taught me what little dog behaviors meant -- things I had never noticed before-- and how to recognize and pre-empt behavior that I wanted to change. After only a few walks she had cured my dogs of barking ravenously at unsuspecting cyclists-- now my dogs simply pass them by without seeming to even notice the bikes. And she taught me how little things I do can help or hurt their progress-- I have learned so much. Rebecca is endlessly positive, patient, and celebrates the tiniest victories. While she is completely professional and has more certifications than I knew existed, you can tell this isn't a job to her-- she truly cares about the animals and about improving their lives and their owner’s lives.
Rebecca and her husband live just a few houses down from us and we became acquainted with them while walking our dogs. We were very curious when we learned she had started her pet sitting service, since we normally avoid traveling too far without our dogs who are our 3rd and 4th child. We had considered planning a long trip with my in laws to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, but were holding back because we couldn’t bring the dogs and were not willing to kennel them. At the time I worked out of the home and had great concerns about leaving them alone for long periods of time since they were not used to that. We talked with Rebecca in detail about their routine and their personalities, and she worked with us every step of the way to make sure our comfort level was what it needed to be to go on vacation and relax. She kept us informed while we were out of town, reassuring us they were doing well and in good hands. We had a wonderful week in Florida and came home to 2 very happy, well cared for dogs. Rebecca had noticed the first day or so that they weren’t eating, so she spent extra time to sit with them and encourage them while they ate. Our dogs are very large (Great Danes), and neighbors commented about how well Rebecca handled them when she had them out for walks. They love her and get very excited when they see her. At Christmas time she even brought them a special bone! She has a gift for working with animals and their people to make sure everyone is reassured. She has walked them for us on several other occasions, and is dependable, professional, and just plainly put a good person. I have recommended her services to several other people and will continue to do so.
